Depending on your location and how many edits you plan to send, we can either physically hand over a hard drive, post a hard drive or utilise cloud delivery, WeTransfer or Ideally Blip.

As standard I’ll edit your ceremony, speeches and 5-20 minute feature film. This gets you to a place where you have everything ready to finesse to your liking and to use to create your highlight film. 

My role is to efficiently build the feature film to a solid, professional standard, creating a strong foundation that’s ready for your final creative touches. This includes assembling the story, pacing, and structure in a clean and cohesive way. I leave space for you to add your signature style—such as shot swaps for personal preference, colour grading, and advanced audio enhancements.
I only apply colour grades or audio treatments when clear, consistent guidelines are provided—for example, setting all dialogue to -6db or using a supplied LUT at a specific opacity.

Your films are generally edited within a 2 day window. This date in pre-determined during our consultation based on my current workload, so you know exactly when you will receive your edits. If you pay for the express service your edits will jump the queue and be delivered within 2 days of booking.

You’ll receive an XML file for you to simply import and reconnect with your footage. If you’re not using Final Cut you may need to download the necessary conversion software to read the XML but all this can be explained in the initial consultation.

I use Final Cut but am able to translate the timeline and convert it for you to be able to import the project back into your preferred editing software.

To avoid copyright issues I require you to supply the music from your licencing site of choice. Typically we’ll use one or two templates that you create or we establish together. Or you’ll supply a bank of music which suits the different scenes of your film and I will make a selection from that database based on my own judgement.

Absolutely. Upon initial consultation I’ll get you to send me a couple of your feature films to establish how you want me to edit. Some clients prefer me to edit in my own style as editing hasn’t been their strong point in the past. But I am happy and able to adapt to the required style.

You can send me as little as one wedding or your entire year. My default set up is 1 or 3 edits but beyond that I can cater to your requirements.

Payments for edits are made in advance of the work and in the case of larger quantities a direct debit will be established to ensure the work is guaranteed.
